Jobusy saw the coming together of Red Team Go, and Love Jozi Design.

Jobusy is quickly becoming one of the most interesting encyclopedias of Johannesburg.

The project currently takes the form of a website that catalogues and explains many different ways of getting the most out of life in Johannesburg city. Primarily done through the interviewing of interesting Johannesburg citizens.

Up until now, we’ve all had our own secret Joburgs. Now is the time to share the love and share the little places with the rest of the city. So many of the places and activities are ones other guides wouldn’t think to include…yet. Everyday Jobusy is unearthing the gems of a city currently getting a facelift. Although it includes a reliable, and up to date list of clubs, bars, and restaurants, we’ve gone on to include districts and asked the interesting Joburg citizens to detail their ideal day in Johannesburg. Also included are calendars of how to get the most out of your week, month, and year. Other features include navigational markers, maps and info on developments in public transport.

We’ve placed a focus on the inner city as new and exciting developments pop up. We all know, or would like to believe the inner city is improving. So here’s a project trying to answer those questions. The site includes videos of the Jobusy Street Team as they go on adventures like finding the oldest pub in Joburg, and attending festivals like The Africa Day concert and the Portuguese festival Lusito Land. Jobusy is on twitter, and the feed is even coming through live on Red Team Go.
